Vista Delayed Again?

Windows Vista may be delayed again by up to 3 months say research group Gartner Inc.

The research note, released to clients on Monday, stated that the new Windows Vista operating system is too complex to be able to meet Microsoft's targeted November release for volume licence customers and January launch for retail consumers.

However, a spokeswoman for Microsoft claims this is not true and that they still have January 2007 as their scheduled release date. Delaying the release of the operating system would be yet another blow to Microsoft, who initially had 2005 as their targeted launch. Vista was pushed to 2006 until last month when it became apparent that early 2007 was a more realistic target.
