Windows Live Messenger

Microsoft have now released the first version of Windows Live Messenger, the new MSN Messenger. This is the first large full release of the new Windows Live branding, which will ultimately apply to almost every online-based software that Microsoft produce.

I've just installed this, and there doesn't appear to be very many changes since the last beta. The welcome page, which was previously full of adverts and MSN content, has been replaced by a marginally more useful introduction with some relevant links.

Although its doesn't appear to be working very well at the moment, you can follow the direct download link to get the installer.
