Office 2007 Versions

We now have the offical versioning and pricing details for the versions (or 'suites') of Office 2007.

Ranging from Basic (Word, Excel, Outlook) to Enterprise and Ultimate. The Basic suite will only be available through OEMs (bought PCs), with no resale pricing, wheras the Ultimate suite costs 9(£370) new or 9(£290) upgrade.

See the image below for the full breakdown of included products, and see Microsoft's pricing page. Click the Read More link to read on.

On its own, Microsoft Word 2007 will cost 9(£120) or 9.95(£60) to upgrade, wheras Visio Professional will cost 9(£300) or 9(£188). Smaller products go for much less, including OneNote .95(£55). Server versions, CALs, web access versions, services, tools and external connectors are available only through volume licensing. There appears to be a typo on the Microsoft site, as it says Project costs .95 new and 9 to upgrade. That could probably be .99 or .99, although I'm not at liberty to speculate.
